Welcome to 2012

Five years ago I had not heard of 2012. Yes I knew it was on the calendar, a way off, and I think there was something to do with the Olympic bid for London, but I am just not that into sport!

Shortly after my introduction to EFT I began to hear whispers of “2012” amidst new words such as “ascension” and “paradigm”.  I would nod during such conversations as if I knew what the hell they were talking about, until I realised that it WAS hell they were talking about; a time of apocalypse that would shut down our electricity grid and communication network, plunge the planet into darkness,  the death or mysterious disappearance of countless people, a global elite that would rule and control the world with fear…and only those purest of soul, who had spent years cleaning and clearing their energies, dredging up past lives, shifting blocks, drinking pure water and thinking pure thoughts would be ‘saved’, ascended, to rise above and leave the planet to those who were hell-bent on destroying Gaia, Mother Earth and all those upon her.

Fear gripped me. The very emotion that I was being urged to ‘cleanse’ from my being…and it would seem I was expected to pass this ‘sacred knowledge’ on to others too; when what I had really wanted to do, was to help people be free of fear in my work as an EFT Practitioner, not generate more.

I physically removed myself from those who perpetuated this message of fear. Yet still I, like every human being, has a propensity to a fear addiction, and I would find myself being drawn back into it, looking at websites, feeding the fear with prophecies of doom and proof of conspiracies of terror.

Fear is, after all, an exciting human emotion because of its intensity; and it is that intensity that we can become addicted to. Those particularly prone to this kind of addiction have experienced trauma in their childhood; it is their uncomfortable ‘comfort zone’ and the un-awakened, unconscious human will draw to it the same emotions, albeit different scenarios, although some may re-create similar scenarios too.

Fear may at one time have served a purpose for us. Some say that in order to come and experience life on earth, it was necessary for us to use these lower vibration emotions, such as fear, to lower our own vibration to match that of the earth; because our Divine selves naturally vibrated much higher. This makes logical sense.  Does 2012 then represent a time when we no longer need to do that to experience life in human form? Inelia Benz, a pure source incarnation, says that planet earth has already shifted into a higher vibration, but not all those here have made the transition, the shift, yet.

What do you think? Because what you think is what IS important amongst all this information, mis-information and…pardon me…crap. It is what YOU think that matters i.e. your paradigm (mind-set) that manifests into reality.

So, there I was trying to ignore all the prophecies of gloom and doom, trying to ignore it out of FEAR, when this little voice in me kept saying very quietly…”What about Law of Attraction?” – Yet another new phrase I had been introduced to!

Law of attraction, after all, states that what you focus on is what you will create in your life. Something didn’t add up for me. Here were people saying “you create your own life experience, everything that happens to you happens because you are vibrating at a matching frequency” and yet they were also saying “Watch out…2012 is coming and it is the END! There will be terrible things happening, just like all those Armageddon movies!”

As soon as I switched my thinking to accept my own power, that I AM the creator of my reality, that 2012 could be just another year, or would be whatever I aligned myself to it being, and that it could then be the dawn of a new Golden age; that I started to find others who hold this vision also, such as Lola Jones, Inelia Benz…just to name a few.

I manifest these people into my experience, because I was now vibrating at a slightly higher vibration. I had made the ‘shift’ into a new paradigm.

This brings me onto ascension. Ascension seems to be interpreted as floating out of your body and going to live somewhere else! Well I am still very much here! I still have a very down to earth life and I am still very human…anyone who has seen me fraught and dishevelled in Tesco will realise that! Ascension, like apocalypse, is a word open to mis-interpretation. Both simply mean ‘awakening’ or ‘awareness’.

Yesterday I woke up. I woke up in the morning and in the stillness before the day begins, I recognised that I had ‘awakened’; one of the things that we are taught (!) can be traumatic, and it had happened relatively pain-free.

It didn’t happen yesterday, it happened long ago…not when I ‘found’ what I was ‘seeking’ – as spiritual teachings urge us to seek and seek and never find (in fact it is the seeking that becomes the painful experience);  it was not when I discovered an ‘answer’ to my ‘questions’, of which there were/are many.

Awakening happened when I asked the question, probably in the nano-second before the question was formed; because awakening happens in the awareness that there is a question, and not in the answer…only the seeking of the answer can keep you from awakening.

I am so excited that 2012 is finally here, that we ARE at the dawn of a Golden age; a year that I had once been so fearful of. I accept that darkness precedes the dawn, but no longer afraid of the darkness because it births the golden light of dawn. But in the span of eternity, the darkness was not just one day, one year or even one decade; but centuries in time. Similarly the dawn will not be just one day, one year or just one decade in time.

The recent global events, both natural and man-made, that so many have used as evidence of the ‘end times’, are no more terrible than global events that have occurred on this planet in the millennia of its existence. A meteorite striking earth millions of years ago, which may have wiped out dinosaurs, for example; a colossal Tsunami thousands of years ago which changed the face of Europe, visits from aliens in ancient Egypt which altered the evolutionary path of humankind, mass killings throughout all of human history, and countless incidents of natural disasters and human destruction.

The events of the last year, the last decade, are in comparison, no more terrible than any of those past events. They sometimes occur on a bigger scale because the world is smaller now. They sometimes feel more terrible because we are living through them; and because we have access to global news, which even a few hundred years ago we would have been ignorant to.

But this IS an auspicious time. The technology and advancements that have meant havoc can be wreaked on a larger scale, also means that we can make many more positive connections, impact a wider audience, and awaken a generation of people.

We have chosen to be here now; I know I have chosen to be here now, at this time.  My life has been preparation in many ways, yet I do NOT believe in ‘soul purpose’. The conflict I have felt between my spiritual self and my human self has been part of that awakening to the knowledge that NOTHING is pre-planned, yet all is destiny. You write your own fate, through your words and intention, through your thoughts and feelings.

Awakening is the awareness of this.

The Golden Age is the evolvement of life on earth which knows no death; the fusion of human and spirit.

Intuition and intention will replace technology, medicine, formal education, government, money; all systems which no longer hold relevance. Spirit will be able to enter new bodies (after centuries of life in one body) with soul-memory intact. Physical birth will be rare and precious, and the human urge to pro-create will be transformed into the spiritual urge to co-create. We will have deeper connection to the physical New Earth, lush, green, fertile and abundant; though our human need for food will be less, as our lighter bodies will convert light into sustenance more efficently.

How long, in time, it takes to manifest this Golden Age vision will depend on the time it takes to awaken more of humanity. But whenever it is, in the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger…”I’ll be back!” - so let’s make it GOOD!

It is easier now, than at any other time in human history, to make changes because the knowledge of how we work is more widely available and because tools and techniques are being created that make use of this knowledge.

These tools and techniques mean that you can make these changes without becoming dependant on a therapist.

Learning with me is different because, I don’t believe you should become dependent on the tools and techniques either, and teach you go beyond them…once you have made the changes you so long for, of course.
