Tapping really helps to remove your blocks...and the key thing is often finding the actual block, tracing it back to it's original beginnings and using forgiveness for other people involved in the story.

I did this very recently, and in ten minutes a thirty year block (which I had not previously identified) dramatically shifted...allowing me 'permission' to pursue the things I really enjoy without feeling I have to justify them! At last I am worthy to be who I want to be!

With that freedom comes the birth of Virtual Creations and with it a new and very real sense of freedom!

One minute it was in my hand, and the next time I looked for it it had disappeared and could not be found. No I haven't mislaid it, it is genuinely lost as I think it fell out of my lap when I got out of the car...

Ten years ago i didn't even own a mobile phone, and when I did eventually have one the first time I received a text, I though how strange it was that people communicated in such a way!

Within a few years I was a self-confessed text-a-holic! In times of personal crisis, my phone became a literal lifeline... Since then I have become less text-dependent, but still much of my communication is done via mobile.

These incidents are painful reminders of how we rely on technology without giving it's validity or value a second thought. YES it has a useful part to play in modern life, and sometimes ANY form of communication is better than no communication...but surely REAL communication is about face-to-face, up close and personal...

So, yes I felt 'cut-off' but as my Feel Better group explored with me this morning, we came to the realisation that we are NOT our 'things'; or houses, our children, our money or our mobiles...and losing any of it, however distressing, is NOT a loss of our self,as it often feels.

"I am all I really have..." is the poignant message that came out of this morning's group.

And of course a new sim card is winging it's way to me in the post as we speak...!

I confess that I do not often watch the news or read a newspaper.

It feels like a confession because society seems news-obsessed! We have news every hour on radio, summaries of the news every half hour, morning news, lunchtime news, early evening news and late night news...we have some tv channels dedicated to 24-hour news, local newspapers, national newspapers and now we post our personal news on Twitter, Facebook and Blogs...!

But all this news (not much of which is actually new and therefore not really news!), tends to be BAD news!

While I think it is important to be aware and not have your head stuck in the sand, I also think that balance is vital.

We are not meant to be bombarded and overloaded with information on a drip-feed basis. It isn't healthy and it isn't useful. Hearing about all the bad things going on, and hearing about it every hour on the hour, is surely detrimental to our health, well-being and society as a whole.

In reality bad news sells, as the adrenaline rush of fear and uncertainty becomes addictive and the pressure to 'know what's going on' is increasingly felt.

Whilst listening to a news story yesterday about an elderly couple who died and were left four days before they were discovered...I felt the story was sad and also important to tell, since it brings to our awareness the need to take care of our neighbours, and create a real community with those around us, as well as the online communities that we have become more diligent in building in recent years.

However, it did also make me think of the THOUSANDS of elderly people who DO survive everyday, because they have the support of people around them. These thousands of people do not make the news...but the awareness of them is equally important.

Awareness and compassion, combined with active action to alleviate and avoid suffering is very important; the focus of your attention is better placed on solution and change AND on the positive news that is ABUNDANT when you open your eyes.

Please watch this amazing video from a fellow EFT Practitioner, David Childerley...I will let it speak for itself.

For all those who wonder why their problems are coming back to haunt them...just as I have; here is something that offers an explanation. Remain open minded, but the evidence for me that 2012 is significant has been in my face for the last few years, even when I didnt want to see it. We have a fantastic opportunity at ...our fingertips now, and I know of no better way than EFT and Reiki to clear our way...this is a call to all my friends to join me.

First Post! 12/16/2009

As the year draws to a close, I am lead to review what 2009 has brought, what I have achieved and to look to build on these things for the coming New Year.

These significant times of the year are important, as we have time to pause from what can often be simply plodding on from one day to the next without any cause to say "Where am I now?!"

In the EFT set-up phrase, we are also lead to the accepting the reality of where we are with our problem or issue. I liken this to sat-nav! Without knowing (accepting) where you are, you cannot begin to travel in the direction you wish to go.

So take a moment before 2010 to review where you have been, accept where you are and set your course for where you would like to be in twelve months time; and perhaps use the following suggestions to help you set your compass!

"Even though I don't like where I am I deeply and completely love and accept myself"
"Even though I don't know where I am going I deeply and completely love and accept myself"
